Founder’s Day

November 17, 2010

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity celebrates it’s 99th year of existence. Friendship is Essential to the Soul!

Founder’s Memorial Brick Program

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. offers you an opportunity to immortalize your service and membership through the Founders Brick Project that is located at the Founders Monument on the campus of Howard University in Washington, DC.  Proceeds from the Brick Project will allow us to not only make a contribution to Howard University, but also to fund our Scholarship and Social Action projects.

The Founders Brick is 8” x 8” with four inscription lines,     and the cost of each brick is $500. Approximately 1,100 Founders Bricks are available, and you will be able to choose the location of your individual brick within the Founders Circle at the time of your purchase.   You will also have the opportunity to personalize your Brick following the guidelines published on the Web site.

It is important to remember that you will be limited to four lines on the Brick, and each line has space for 20 characters. We urge you to make your purchase right away.  The Founders Brick Project is housed in the Omega Century Foundation, Inc., our 501 (c) 3 organization.  All payments for Bricks are tax-deductible, and checks should be made to the Omega Century Foundation, Inc.

Purchasers will receive a receipt at the time of purchase, and a certificate of recognition.  If you have any questions about the Brick Program, please contact Mrs. Turner-Hemphill at OPP-HDQ.  She may be reached at (404) 284-5533.  All of the information and forms needed to purchase a brick can be found on the official Omega Web site (http://www.oppf.org).
